Using audio from garageband09 in imove09

I am playing around with iLife 09 for the first time. I am wondering...garageband has so many more effects and whatnot than imove. I have done some looking around but am unable to find a way to use garageband sounds and effects in imovie. How is this done?? Thanks! P.S. Also, in garageband... no mater what audio clip I have selected it shows it is 1 second long... even the long jingles. Any ideas on this one? |
