Can't Delete e-mail

Hi,

I can't delete unwanted e-mails anymore. I get a message "The destination mailbox “Deleted Messages — Gmail” does not allow messages to be moved to it."

I don't think I changed any settings.

Can you help me please?

With respect to ANY Mailbox "failure", you may find the solution by highlighting the mailbox, going to Toolbar "Mailbox" and on the drop down menu selecting "Rebuild".

This should sort things.

This solved my exact problem in less time than it took for me to register to this site, Thank you! I received one stubborn e-mail message that refused to be deleted or moved out of my inbox, but this did the trick.

I had this problem a few months ago and finally got it resolved but couldn't remember how when it popped up again today. Thanks for this tip...it worked GREAT!
