    Safari freezing/crashing
Hi all - hope someone can be of some help here...
When I try to open Safari, all that happens is it tries to open my homepage, I get the spinning beachball and then it crashes, giving me the "the application safari has quit unexpectedly" message.
After searching the forum, this is what I came up with to try to fix it:
I emptied the cache & reset safari, that did nothing. So I deleted safari & downloaded it from the apple site - still crashes. I deleted the preference file - still crashes.
Also, Safari still runs on the other account I have set up on the computer...what gives? And what do I do?
I'm running os X.4.11 on an iMac I've had about 2 years.
    Any help much appreciated.

Runs on the other account you say? Try repairing the disk permissions in Disk Utility.
There is no system but GNU and Linux is one of its kernels.
