Adobe acrobat 7.0 pro pdf files create mini images

I'm running mac OS10 version 10.4.11 - I have CS2 and am having a recent problem with acrobat 7.0 pro Each time I try to create a pdf, from file or multiple files, the jpg file I use is always from a photoshop source (also part of the CS2 suite) the end result presents a minature image, like teeny stamps lost on the page....I don't know how to remedy this? Any advice? Thanks a million!
