On windows, if I needed to enter a special character (like an o with something above it) - I would press ALT+ 4 digit code on the numeric keypad. I know the "character palette" can allow me to copy special characters, but sometimes it's just not available (ie: playing WoW). I'm sure there has to be a way to do a key combination to get special characters to enter without having to use the character palette, isn't there? My Macs: 2012 Non-Retina 15" MBP; Mac mini G4, 1.25 GHz, 512m ram (server); Late 2011 11" MBA, 1.8GHz i7, 4Gig Ram, 256Gig SSD, HD3000; Powerbook 12" G4 1.33GHz running Debian as a server; Apple TV (1080p version) |
