I am still using Clarisworks software for my old & faithful PowerMac7200 & 9500. I use the software to store a lot of data in the form of spreadsheets. I wish to know whether Clarisworks can still be used in PowerMac G3s, G4s and G5s.
Alternatively should I convert all these spreadsheets from Clariswork files into Appleworks files? TQ |

AppleWorks 6 came out in 2000 or so. AppleWorks 6 will open ClarisWorks/AppleWorks 5 files. The last update was 6.2.9, which you can download from Apple's support site. AW 6.2.9 can be used on all recent Macs, including current Intel Macs with Leopard. If you want to move to iWork, you'd have to use AW 6 to convert your files from CW/AW 5 to AW6 format. You can then use iWork to open the AW 6 files. |
