Hi there. We are new to the Apple world and my husband plays COD4 on PC. We want to switch to MAC but he also wants to be able to play the game on MAC. I have a few questions and hopefully you guys can help us in justifying the switch to MAC with Call of Duty 4.

1. For some reason, I can't find the 1.6 Patch Mac version but I was able to download 1.7. On the PC version, in able for us to play in all the servers compatible with 1.7, we have to apply the 1.6 patch first and apply 1.7. With the MAC version, do we also have to apply a 1.6 patch before applying 1.7 or is ok just to apply the 1.7?

2. My husband launches the game on PC through GSC. He plays in one server only he has to use the GSC PC version to be able to get in the server. With the MAC version, where can we get a copy of the GSC compatible to MAC? I searched everywhere last night and all I get are broken links. Some guy from the Netherlands stopped developing the GSC Mac Version for COD4. Can someone provide us a copy of it so we can do the switch? Any suggestions?

1. As far as I can tell you do not need 1.6 so I suggest just to try and install 1.7 patch.
