What is the best way to hide a folder on a removable drive (thumb drive, CDR) on OSX, and make it visible on Windows XP (with password)?
I have tried a freeware Hide Folders 2008 which is excellent being executed on Mac, and even under Windows the folders in the removable media are still not visible. But, I have no way to expose the folders in Windows if I want to. The purpose is to pass some sensitive files to my Windows users. Alternatively, the folder is not not necessarily to be hidden. But when trying to open it, it will prompt for password. Is there a free cross-platform software which can perform this? |
