I downloaded a torrent file of jedi knight II for osx because I lost my CD copy of it. I downloaded it assuming it was the full game and that I would be able to play it. When I tried loading it an error message came up saying that there is no cd in the drive. Is there a way around this? A virtual program for OSX that allows me to play without a CD. I mean I still have the registration number and all. I just want to play the **** game. Why do people make these files available if you need a cd to use them?

Why is everyone at all the mac forums so anal about this stuff? Windows people seem a bit looser about it. Shameful since macs are better computers.

Because discussion of Illegal Activities like Piracy are against the law and can get our forum in trouble. We want to be here to help people tomorrow and not forced to shut down due to allowing discussion of Illegal Activities like Piracy, Ripping Copyrighted Videos, ETC. Sorry but it's the rules here at Mac Forums.

There are many excellent Windows forums that follow the same rules.
