I am about to wipe my mac and start fresh but i have lost my Office 2008 serial key and was wondering if there is a way to get it from the already installed software. I went into 'About Word' and it shows product I.D but I'm pretty sure that isn't the serial and won't work on install.

Any ideas?

If you still have the original CD contact Microsoft and explain your situation and product ID will not work for registration.

What happened to the other two keys? Lost them too? (Office 2008 ships with 3 install keys)

Anyway, do as harry suggested. If you registered your copy of Office 2008 with MS, they might supply you with another install key. If you didn't register, they probably will not honor your request and instead ask you to purchase a new key. How is MS to know your copy of Office 2008 is legitimate?

Regards.
