Dashboard Client

Okay, nice easy newbie question, I suspect! Sigh...I've just tried to install the Adobe Flash Player, but it won't let me until I quit the "Dashboard Client"!

I opened the force quit box but saw no such thing running! I'm confused, please let me know what this is and how I quit it for future reference!!

I'm not sure what you mean by force quit box, but you can open Activity Monitor (type it into spotlight, cmd+space) and there you might see several Dashboard client apps running, so just end them

Thanks very much, that did the trick!
By "Force Quit Box" I meant when I press cmd+opt+esc, but that only shows open applications.
