so i am running os x with the 06 version of iphoto i believe and i was wondering if there was a way to choose individual pictures off of my camera to be imported into iphoto, when ever i need to put pictures on my computer i have to import my whole camera then delete the duplicates...this dosnt seem right? i have messed with iphoto for a long time and cant come up with a solution, Can anybody help me out??

You could try using Image Capture to import your selected photos to you computer and then import them to iPhoto. Not much easier than importing all and then deleting, though. In the earlier versions of iPhoto, importing specific photos was not supported. It is now, starting with iPhoto 7.
