Dock problem

I don't know what's wrong with my dock. my config is 10.4.11 g5 1.8ghz.
It just restarts it self whenever i switch application and changes it's settings own it's own sometimes even turns on auto hide it's really hard to work as every now and then it will restart and it's PID will change and this is what i got in responce of

"ps -auxww | grep Dock"

it's strange and quite bulling
guys out there please help me out with this one it's way to strange...

i have found some more strange thing my dock restarts whenever i click in any application but finder and i let me work on keyboard but the moment i click it restarts it self with new pid and it's quite irritating so please help me with this...

unless that command actually runs how you wrote it, I mean without specifying the user, but that's probably not the case ... although I don't get those extra characters on the line strange

if it restarts then it's normal for it to get a new PID, wouldn't get the original one, but as to why it restarts I can't think of anything ... any weird applications running?

the only way how to restart the Dock that I know of is by sending it a kill signal by PID, so I'm not sure what can be causing the restarts
