just switched over to iMac from PC; i went to the ftp for two domains i own and got this message:
You don’t have permission to open this page.
You don’t have permission to view “Macintosh HD"

doublechecked the urls on a PC and there still there, so what's up? how do i log in to ftp sites on an iMac? do I need to contact the domain company?

The log on procedure should be the same. Can you log on to the FTP site with your PC after making the attempt with the Mac?

Are you accessing the net the same way for both the PC and the Mac? (same router, etc.) Are you using Safari?

Regards.
