Congrats on the new MBP! Overall, it should be a great computer since the MBPs are designed for their graphics. I'll work with 2GB of RAM, but you defiantly will want to boost the RAM up to its maximum amount though (should be 4GB) if you're going to be playing games on it. RAM is really cheap to find from NewEgg.com. iRam and Crucial have the best and least expensive RAM that has no effect on Apple's warranty (if it's still even active). You'll have to get 2 new 2GB sticks to do this, and it should cost a total of $90-120. It'll make even simple tasks on your MBP much faster too. Hope that helps!

Notebook: aluminum MacBook (2.4 GHZ Core 2 Duo, 3 GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 32GB partition for Vista Home Premium, Ubuntu Linux 8.10 running in VMWare Fusion 2)
iPod: 16GB iPod Touch (2nd generation), 8GB iPod Nano (3rd generation)
