Mac Pro - uploading design premium

i'm relatively new to mac's and i'm still getting used to my macbook pro but i tried to install the adobe design premium and it wouldn't let me install photoshop cs3 because it said that it was already on my mac but i cant find it anywhere and searches on my mac are coming back empty. anyone have any ideas?!

Doesn't the latest Adobe Design Premium include Photoshop CS4? (Depending on which version of Premium you installed, CS3 may have been included instead.) That's probably why it's saying you already have CS3 installed.

Use the uninstaller on the Adobe website to get rid of any Photoshop CS 3 detritus first.

its not the latest design premium, its the cs3 one. i had photoshop cs3 installed before on my mac when i first got it but then when i got the new software i foolishly dragged everything from photoshop cs3 into the trash without uninstalling it and now theres nothing in my utilities to let me get rid of it
