Keeping a track on your passwords

Hi all, I hope you've had a good Christmas!

I'm still getting used to using a mac and recently went looking for a program to hold all my passwords.

I decided on giving 1Password a go and it seems ok so far. I was wondering if you use anything different, could recommend another app from experience?

OS X has a built in password app called Keychain Access. Just do a quick spotlight search for it and it holds everything from websites, to WEP keys for wireless networks.

I use Keychain, you can even add your own, I have manually added my bank logins

For extra security you can change the keychain password to be different to your User's login password

I use SplashId since you can also sync it with your iPhone to have the information with you when you are not at home.

I used this app before for the Palm as well and it has worked just fine.

Thanks for the tips guys.. I've just been reading up on the built in keychain access app, didn't realise this was on my laptop, doh!

I think this will be fine for me and and free too, yay

I keep everything in Secure Notes in the Keychain. And then I keep it backed up in 3 different places.
