Clipboard clip collection software

I've tried to fond software to master clips from internet. As journalist I try to make such collections very quickly and archive them.
There used to be such a Windows-program, called KeyNote PIM, much like TreePad Lite which I now use in my Mac and linux-based mini-laptop.
However, TreePads cannot do the trick. KeyNote made a new note of each contents of clipboard, or if I wanted, it added it after previous clips. KeyNote DOES work on VMWare or even on Wine, and it even preserves the Finnish special chars right when moved from Mac to linux, but it cannot import the contents of clipboard automatically.
Any hints to solve the problem?
