Hey, I was wondering, a few of my other friends have Mac's however my iBook G4 doesnt have the built-in webcam. Is there a way for those with webcams to video chat with me eventho I do not have a webcam. Like for me to see them but obviously they wouldnt be able to see me? Thanks.

If you are running Leopard and using iChat as long as they initiate the video chat you should be able to see them. Since you do not have a camera you can not start a video chat but you can join one. You may also want to look at your preferences, see if there is anything about enabling it involved. If you have a video tab on the menu at the top you may want to look at that as well.

If they have a webcam you can use AIM, Yahoo, MSN...you don't have to go through iChat or have a cam of your own.

Skype is a free, cross-platform solution:

Skype official website – free download and free calls and internet calls

BTW - You can pick up a cheap USB webcam for your iBook so your friends can see you too
