MacBook - Macbook (late 2008) youtube performance?

My brand new Macbook with Leopard 10.5.5 has awful performance in youtube videos. Everything is choppy. Is that normal? My windows desktop plays them perfect.

Did you try installing Perian or Flip4Mac? You may need codecs to play youtube properly. Or updating Flash if that is what they you for their video system.

Infact on my Windows PC safari runs youtube really bad since the update
