So I realized my version of Final Cut 6 won't update after saving a file on one of my school's machines then trying to work on it with my Macbook pro. I got the message "this version too old" blah blah.
Yesterday the auto update stuff came up and I saw a proapps update in there, installed everything. Then today looked and my Final Cut version was still 6.0.1 So I went to the Apple site and manually downloaded the .dmg file for the proapps like color, final cut, etc and installed it... Still no luck, stuck at 6.0.1 Any suggestions? Oh, and my Final Cut Studio 2 package was a student one, I know I can't upgrade straight if say Final Cut 7 is released, but does it keep me from updating as well? |
