Why didn't I get GMail's new interface?

I have 2 gmail accts, one of them received the new gmail interface with the nice new themes and colors.

How can I activate it?
I have attached screenshots of my 2 accts so you could see the difference.

Huh.. Ive had Gmail for a couple years and cant activate the new interface either. When did you sign up for the gmail account?

I just checked mine and the themes are there as well as the Tab in settings. Looks great. They say in the next few days all accounts will have the new settings.

I like how things look 3-D. I'm all about changing the themes and making them look better, but not the formatting
