Entourage/Exchange Sent Items problems

Hi,

We are using Entourage 2004 and have a problem with it writing the items from the sent folder into the Exchange folder's - I have found numerous posts relating to checking the tick is in the 'save sent items..' box and also ctrl clicking on the folder and emptying the cache, neither of which have made any difference.

The one thing I did notice is that after emptying the cache it took over an hour to re-populate the sent items in Entourage.

This only started happening after 22 October 2008, but I cannot think of anything that changed then to be causing this.

Any ideas greatly appreciated - if not for fixing the problem, would either IMAP or using the Exchange OWA URL for the server work instead?
