Address Book addresses multiply themselves

I sync 5 different Mac Address books. Some automatically, some manually.
The problem is the growing number of street address entries within certain contacts.
There are certain addresses that slowly, over time, get multiple street addresses. The thing is, they are all the same - except one. The difference is that the ZIP/postal code field is empty on one (shows as grayed out 'ZIP') and the others have a space in that field. I've attached a picture that demonstrates this. Idf left alone, there will be a growing number of addresses.
Is it a sync setting on one of the computers? How do I stop it?
