How do I set up forum builders on my mac? Phpbb2 for example..

Mac Specs: Mac Pro 8x3.0ghz 12gb ram 8800GT , MBP 2.16 2GB Ram 17 inch.

The ones I am aware of, are not hardware dependent on the user level, just the sever level. So find a hosting company that can support the software you want to use and install it on their servers (dreamhost has it as a one click install option) then you can set up and manipulate your forum from your mac.

And how would I go about installing it on their servers?

I've never made a forum before so I'm trying to get to grips with it!
