I just installed the latest microsoft office 2004 update, and surprise, surprise, I can't open any of the programs anymore.
I don't get error messages, it just runs and then it stops responding.
Is there a way to un-intall the update? Or should I uninstall the whole ms office and re-install again???
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I would just re-install, especially if the update didn't add anything of use to you

i've uninstalled and reinstalled it, without any error messages...but the programs still won't boot up. they stop responding after about 5 seconds...not sure what to do...
i would update to office 2008, only if it garanties me that it will work

use appzapper to do a complete uninstall including the prefs

AppZapper - The uninstaller Apple forgot.

then try a complete new fresh install

also, have you installed any new fonts recently?
