iChat Trouble - timing out.

I got my Mac near the end of June, and I am pretty sure I have had this problem since then, I can't exactly remember.

If I am "idle" or do not talk with anyone for a length of time, and then I try to send them an IM, I get this annoying little box

.

I would like this to stop. It is quite irritating, and I appear offline to my buddies, but I don't know anything is wrong until I try to talk to someone.

Help?

ive been getting this the last month or so too; im not sure what to attribute it to

Hi,

Check if u have the same settings in iChat preferences.

Also try in new user account to isolate the issue.

hi there
need help to watch powerpoint presentation on the macbook..
im really new to it and i cant even downlod anything to my ipod..

Nope, still getting the error, and I changed the settings to what those are.

i got it too..just changed the port from 5190 to 443 and its been fine since.
