Hello all,
I have an issue that I can not figure out. I just upgraded to Leopard 10.5.5 and work on CS 3. Everything worked out nicely except for Illustrator CS 3. It won't open from the dock or applications folder, but it does show up in the force quit window when I have to shut it down. It bounces in the dock for a while, then nothing. Has anyone else dealt with this phenomenon? |

Try uninstalling Illustrator and reinstall. The update to Leopard (10.5.5) installed a new version of OpenGL which has caused problems for some applications. However, yours is the first I've heard about it effecting Illustrator.
I know it's too late for you and many others, but I highly recommend before installing any major update to the OS, to make a full backup first. Regards. |
