I got my macbook a year ago and from opening emails with out paying attention I downloaded a few WMA files. I have gone into downloads when I move them to trash, I have to give m password, but then nothing happens. Someone told me I wasnt getting administer powers, if that is the problem how do I fix it? Or do I have a totally different problem? Help Please!!

I have this problem too. I just can't trash my old wma files that I transferred without realising they wouldn't play on the mac. I don't want to pay for a program to convert them I just want to to trash them, but they won't go. I get asked for a password too, and that bit seems fine, just the files don't disappear! Did you have any luck peaches?
