After Firefox 3 install Imac not sleeping

Perhaps I should expand.
It will sleep, if I tell it to, but it won't sleep if I let the auto-sleep function kick in.
Also, Firefox has to be running. If I shut Firefox down, then the Imac will sleep.
This didn't happen on the previous Firefox version.

Update:
I checked the Firefox forum and it appears I am not the only one having this issue.
Any help gratefully appreciated.
