MacBook - my iChat doesnt work

whenever i sign onto i-chat it repeatedly signs me on and off, and then it says too many failed logins. why does this happen???

Did you change any of the settings in I-Chat? I would try logging into aim express, you don't hafta download anything just search for it on google, to see if everything is ok with your username/pw.
