I've re-read your post a number of times now and I simply don't get it. What is it you're attempting to accomplish?

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

Dysfunction is online now
he's using the 'remote' program for his ipod touch, and his firewall is blocking the TCP connections required to do so.

Other than that, I don't have a clue what to set the firewall to. I don't use software firewalls.

If your Mac sits behind a router there is no need to turn on the software firewall.
