Since the day I got my macbook while playing chess it freezes. It happens about 20% of the time. Everything else works just fine, I can even start a new game. Any Ideas? The macbook is a month old.. 2.4ghz 2g ram

It shouldn't be freezing at all as it's a very simple game - not graphic intensive. Try running Disk Utility from Applications -> Utilities and verify your Macintosh HD. It's possible that one of the chess files may be corrupt.

If you still have problems with it freezing, you might want to boot from your Leopard install disk one, run the Disk Utility from it and verify the hard drive that way.
