Hello all!

This is my 1st post (so please be gentle!)
I recently upgraded from OSX Tiger to Leopard, and shortly after that time (but not immediately) any attempt to open IPhoto has resulted in a prolonged exposure to the spinning pizza of death followed by the program closing and inviting a report. I have approx 6000 images on iPhoto (all thankfully backed up), but no way of accessing them (ironically, I was intending to delete them now they are backed up!)

I have used disc doctor to repair any permissions that may have been corrupted, but to no avail.

(I've ordered another gig of RAM as everything seems to open slowly since the Leopard upgrade, but it hasn't arrived yet!)

Here's my OS:
Model: PowerBook6,8, BootROM 4.9.0f0, 1 processor, PowerPC G4 (1.2), 1.5 GHz, 512 MB
Graphics: GeForce FX Go5200, GeForce FX Go5200, spdisplays_agp_device, 64 MB
Memory Module: DIMM0/BUILT-IN, 256 MB, built-in, built-in
Memory Module: DIMM1/J31, 256 MB, DDR SDRAM, PC2700U-25330
AirPort: spairport_wireless_card_type_airport_extreme (0x14E4, 0x4E), Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0 (
Modem: Jump, V.92, Version 1.0
Bluetooth: Version 2.1.0f17, 2 service, 0 devices, 1 incoming serial ports
Network Service: AirPort, AirPort, en1
Parallel ATA Device: MAT****ADVD-R UJ-835E
Parallel ATA Device: FUJITSU MHT2080AH, 74.53 GB
USB Device: Bluetooth USB Host Controller, Apple, Inc., full_speed, 500 mA
USB Device: Apple Internal Trackpad, Apple Computer, full_speed, 500 mA

and here's the log following the program crash:
Process: iPhoto [135]
Path: /Applications/

Build Info: iPhotoProject-2630000~8
