Power Mac - File Transfer from Laptop to Desktop

Hello all.

I am new here, but I did do a search as best I could before posting this.

I would like to transfer files from my iBook to my desktop. I own a firewire cable. Is there a way that I could use this?

Thanks so much for your help.

By the way, they are both running 10.4.11

it is amazing what happens if you actually use the help section of your computer.

I figured it out.

I look forward to learning a lot from this site.
