I have been unsuccessfully looking for a piece of software to enter map locations and save them. Google maps lets you make custom pushpins on a map. Is there a program that lets you store address locations on a map that doesn't require the internet to view the addresses?

Basically, I want to find a Google Maps type of software. (google earth does not have an address interface.)

Any help is appreciated...

Route Buddy http://www.routebuddy.com seems to be best offline software ive found, but it is somewhat expensive ($150 for the app & USA maps... Canada & Mexico are extra) and the demo i downloaded seemed to be lacking many rural road numbers (but maybe thats just because its a demo)

Maybe someone else who has bought this software can add some input
