MacBook Pro - video chat

I have a mbp and my mom has a of laptop also with a built in camera. Since she doesn't have iChat, what can we use to video chat with the most ease?

skype has one of the best frame rates I've seen for video chat, it's also free.

I use skype to video chat with people using windows computers and it works pretty well...
