My Mac Pro (Leopard 10.5.3) freezes while I am entering text or other data in a PowerPoint slide. I think it occurs when I accidentally hit several keys at the same time - a combination of left-over habits from PC days and simple finger slips. Possibly apple + alt + some other letter, but I never exactly notice till its too late. The spinning ball comes up and I have to force quit.
Is this a known problem? There are threads on other boards that describe numerous other PowerPoint freeze-up problems but not this one. Is there a way to disable keyboard combinations? |
