For some reason when i open itunes it comes up "Itunes software license agreement" then i click agree.

Then it comes up "The file " itunes libray" cannot be read becase it was created by a newew version of itunes"

Any idea why ?

Cheers.

what version of iTunes do you have

is there a file called iTunes Library.xml next to your library file, you could use that to restore your library

Try and locate the file iTunes Library.xml

Then from itunes choose file > import, link to that file and it should restore your library
