I'm doing some upgrades to my G5 DP 1.8 tower. Currently have FX5200 graphics w/ 64mb vram. I want to know how much difference the following two cards will make in final cut, compressor and motion vs my current card.

9800 Pro 128MB
9600 pro 256MB

thanks.

graphics card wont make the difference unless you use 3d editing..... you should better upgrade CPU, or HD speed, or even RAM...

bear in mind that editing is planar (no 3d), so that the Graphics Card will play a second role.
QUOTE Thanks
