I remember hearing about spore like 2 years ago and thinking nothing of it. This demo is pretty awesome. Can't wait for the full game in September.

Kinda strange- It works on my Intel MB but not on my sisters. We got them like 8 or 9 months apart. Must be her ram or gfx card.

What do you guys think about the CC Demo?

It is likely the graphics chipset. Spore doesn't works on Intel's 950 chipset. Here is a link to a possible fix (if this is indeed the problem): Run Spore Creature Creator on Unsupported GMA 950 Macs.

I am enjoying the demo. I feel like an artist with these creations. They are never quite done. Plus the cat goes nuts when I make them scream.

Good luck!

Reading thru the comments on that tuaw post, I was somewhat horrified to discover Spore for Mac is actually accomplished thanks to WINE! (and probably some version that is sorely out of date, too)
