I'm thinking of getting Parallels for my Macbook, although I hate windows there's a couple of applications that I need to use that aren't Mac compatible and there are no plans to make them so.
If I get Parallels, do I have to buy XP as well, or is it an 'all in' package? Will I need to run antivirus and spyware programs if I run Parallels? Thanks |

i have Parallels 3.0 and Vmware Fusion. to be honest with you "from my personal experience" i like Vmware Fusion, much faster than Parallels 3.0 Now that's just me. maybe others will disagree with me. if you get either Parallels or Vmeare Fusion, you need to buy a Windows XP/Vista DVD/CD. Yes you will need to run Antivirus and Spyware programs in windows. Good Luck.
