OS 10.0 - Cant open Hotmail

I have a Powerbook G4 but when I try to get to my Hotmail account I get the following message.

"Windows Live ID is unavailable from this site for one of the following reasons:

This site may be experiencing a problem.
The site may not be a member of Windows Live ID.

You can:
You can sign in or sign up at other Windows Live ID sites and services, or try again later at this site."

What should I do?

i get the same message when i am on a wireless connectiong, but it seems ok on my hardwire LAN line, its pretty annoying tho, it also only happens in safari but is fine in Firefox... i dont get it
