MacBook - Linkinus HELP PLEASE

hey everyone i bought and own linkinus, which is an irc program. when trying to download an update and install the newest version of linkinus if gives me this message. " Linkinus does not have permission to write to the application's directory! Are you running off a disk image? If not, ask your system administrator for help."


Please help this is very frustrating.

Did you actually install Linkinus by dragging the application from the Mounted DMG image to the Applications folder?
