PowerBook - Apps showing up twice

Mac Specs: PowerBook G4, 1.5Ghz, 768Mb RAM, 80gb hard drive-imac G4-ipod touch 32Gb 3g-Macbook 2.4ghz, 2BG RAM

When I right click on a file to 'open with', I notice some apps appearing twice. This has been happening since I linked (Target disk mode) with another ibook.
It's annoying and I think it's slowed down my computer. Anyone knows how to remedy this?

Hmm.... What kind of apps are appearing twice? you might of done that sync thing and now its appear twice... i did that with my Powerbook G3 with my Imac G5....... and yeh hehe it has 2 MAC HD... but its fine now... and its good that way too i suppose...

re install you OS System that'll probly fix the problem
