I'm looking for some opinions out there. I'm looking for a program that can help me design logos. Preferably vector, but it doesn't have to be.

I'm a noob at this stuff, so I'm looking for a program that will do quality work, but isn't too complicated. I'm sure if it's a professional grade program I'll be able to figure out the basics (which I don't mind).

My first thought was to use Adobe Illustrator, but I'm not sure if I'm on the right path.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
