As a studying tool for php/mysql I'm using xampp for my pc at home. Is there a similar package available for mac? I know xampp for mac exist but according the its site it still in early development and should be use at one's own risk so I'm a bit hesistant using it.

Did hear about Mamp which by the looks of it seems similar. I'm not a mac expert so I don't know if it's any good. Is it the app I should use on my mac or are there better packages out there?

Want to use it to study mysql which I could download from its site, but that would envolve a lot of terminal commands...
