    Compression App?
    I'm searching for an app that can provide the best compression possible for files at the size of 100mb or larger.. what app would you all recommend ?

    OS X uses ZIP built in

    just right click on the file(s) and chose Archive...

    Bingo - you have just zipped the files

    and yes that takes off about 10% of the size.. if that..


    there has to be an app that will compress files atleast 30-40% in size

    I like BetterZip even better than StuffIt.
    Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
