hey all,

question. I have a powerbook g4 running Firefox (in case that is pertinent) and have an HP OfficeJet v40 running off my Airport Extreme. I can't get the printer to work over the air. I downloaded that Foomatic thing, and the printer queue comes up. However, every job then says "printer queue busy, trying again in __ seconds".

I know it can work, because it did before a huge software security update about a month or two ago. Anyone know what I can do to get the printer to work over the air through the airport?

thanks in advance for any information. I am new to Apple, and so don't know my way through the innards like I do with Windows. Don't worry, I won't switch back.
QUOTE Thanks
