Safari Crash please help!

Ok I am having problems with safari. After an automatic update to safari I am unable to use it without it crashing right away. Im currently on Mac OS X Version 10.4.11. Wich I dont think is compatable with Safari 3.1. This is real important I get this back up and running please someone help me..I Can give a problem report if needed.

Best recommendation is to run your maintenance scripts, or just use onyx to do all the maintenance.

I had this problem (on Leopard, tiger seemed to be fine) right after I installed the update to safari. Mail and Vienna wouldn't open either. I restarted my computer and that solved the problem. It's worth a try.
